Plum and Rooibos Açai Breakfast Bowl

Serves 1-2 portions



Ingredients:

 

Main Ingredients

1 ½ cups soya yoghurt (non-GMO) preferably Greek style

1 ½ tablespoons chia seeds

1 ½ tablespoons flax seeds

1 teaspoon rooibos tea

⅛ teaspoon vanilla powder

1 tablespoon açai powder

2-3 teaspoons maple syrup

¼ cup raisins

 

Toppings

1-2 plums cut into wedges

Pumpkin seeds

Desiccated coconut

 

Preparation:

  1. Mix all the main ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Top with the plum wedges, the pumpkin seeds and the desiccated coconut.

 

Did you know?

This breakfast is really high in several vitamins which come in part from the açai and the plums and also the raisins. It is also really high in antioxidants which come from the rooibos as well as most of the other ingredients especially the maple syrup and the seeds.

 

It is very high in protein too because of the seeds.

 

And as well as this, because of the chia seeds, the pumpkin seeds and the flax seeds the breakfast bowl is very high in omega 3 and 6 oils.

 

Where does your protein come from?

It comes from a combination of the soya yoghurt, the flax seeds, the chia seeds and the pumpkin seeds.
